A Spanish village called Candelario
Candelario!
It is a village located in the South-east of Salamanca, that is a city in the middle of Spain, close to Portugal.
Its mountains make it really well-known as well as its footpaths to do trekking. Furthermore it has amazing forests of oaks and chestnuts where you can pick up chestnuts during the autumn and at the beginning of November, it is really traditional going to the forest to roast them.
Most of houses were built by stone and they have an original main door made of wood, that is called "batipuerta", it was useful during the winter when it used to snow frequently.
Another peculiarity is that their road have a narrow canal of water.
