Scotland: Edinburgh and Highlands 2019. Part II

Monday 19th August 2019

Hi there, 

Here we go again!
Leaving Skye Island we will reach Loch Ness, uuhh!! However, we had a little stop to refill our battery. 

In the meantime, we had the opportunity to see the Highland cows and we fed them.

Then we followed the road until we reach the Loch Ness! 
As you could appreciate the weather was generous to us :) We visited Urquhart castle, and from there we had a great view of the famous Loch Ness even though we could not see Nessi, maybe next time!

We finalized the day getting Pitlochry, where we found a band playing Scottish bagpipe. It was great!

Tuesday 20th August 2019

We love this little village and we enjoyed the following day visiting it. We had the opportunity to visit Edradour Distillery I loved it, I meant I loved the place the man who explained to us how they worked and how they grew. It was very interesting but the whiskey very strong I do not really fancy whiskey...

Some pictures from it and from our hostel that it was amazing, clean, friendly and quiet.

By the end of the day, we got Dunfermline where we spent the last night.
On our road, we stopped in St. Andrew really nice and university city, quite alive and friendly.

The last night that we booked was an amazing one due to our lovely English house that we highly recommend you. 
On the 21st of August, we drove to Edinburgh airport to flight to Madrid.
I really enjoyed the days in the north and I would like to come back, we left things to see!
